Meta Funnel Hacker

Easily search for real, winning ads running on the Meta platform.

What is this?

Our Meta Funnel Hacker tool lets you find what ads are winning on Facebook and Instagram.

Just type in your search terms and tap the “Search” button. We’ll automatically set the right filters on the Meta Ad Library for you, so only the top-performing ads appear.

What "Funnel Hacking"?

“Funnel hacking” basically means researching your competitors’ marketing funnels to see what types of ads work for your audience.

The idea is: instead of starting from scratch and wasting thousands of dollars testing random ad copy and creative, take a look at what’s already working and get a head start.

If your competitors are advertising on Facebook or Instagram, you can use the Meta Ad Library to research their ads. Our Funnel Hacker tool above helps you make the best use of the Ad Library.

What is the Meta Ad Library?

The Meta Ad Library (formerly “Facebook Ad Library”) is a database of all ads running on the Facebook and Instagram platforms.

It allows you to search for specific keywords or company names, and gives you valuable information like how long an ad has been running.

While this information is super useful, the Ad Library itself can be clunky and a pain in the butt to use, which is why we created the Funnel Hacker tool.

How do I know what's working and what isn't?

There’s no way to know for sure if one of your competitor’s ads is performing well. However, there are some clues.

The two main clues you want to look at are time active and repeated themes.

If the ad has been running for 2 or more weeks (time active), that’s a good sign your competitor is making a lot of money from it.

Or, if you see a lot of ads with a similar offer, call to action, creative, or other element (repeated themes), then that’s a good sign multiple advertisers have caught on to some good marketing patterns that are helping them make money.

Our Meta Funnel Hacker allows you to search for ads that have been running for a minimum of 2 weeks from today’s date, so you don’t have to fiddle around with the filters yourself on the Meta Ad Library.
